You’re spending x number of years working toward your graduate degree. Your thesis/dissertation could help launch your career. Then what? You’re updating your CV, but what about your online presence and digital identity? This session will discuss why and how to develop a professional web presence, including social media, academic social networks, digital identifiers, and copyright and access options for your thesis or dissertation, which will be submitted to the University’s digital repository Open Scholarship. Why cultivate an academic web presence? To control your image before it controls you.
