In conjunction with the exhibit Gateway to the East: China at the 1904 St. Louis World’s Fair, join us for a lively roundtable discussion focused on how the Qing government and its American counterpart, navigated through the forces of colonialism, imperialism, diplomacy, and globalization at the turn of the 20th century. Moderated by Christopher Gordon of the Missouri Historical Society.
